Set of Marathi Books for Children

Consistency in mass production... Printer’s delight in showcasing wider color gamut within the constraints of CMYK... Spot holographic coating used on title for catching attention of the child... Perfect use of 10m stochastic screen for printing visibly brilliant images with extremely vibrant colors using conventional CMYK inks.

This was a project consisting 24 books including one activity book requiring die-cutting. The runlength was more than 150,000 sets. Hence the production planning was done well before the files actually came in: right from instructing the artists to keep the b/w sketches in a separate layer to achieve rich black to planning the imposition sheet in such a manner that not even a square mm is wasted. Planning with the paper supplier as to what will be the dimensions of the pallets to colorcoding each book for visible identification marks so that books are not mixed up in the process of binding.
