This is a festival gift pack meant to contain sweets of a famous brand name of Ahmedabad — Vipul Dudhia. Though the shape of the carton is slightly intricate, what we found difficult here was the green color.

The Green swirls on the front are totally out of of gamut of the conventional CMYK color space. If the RGB file supplied herewith is viewed and converted to CMYK in Photoshop, one will realize that the entire front becomes dull green and all the festivity is completely lost.

We decided to convert the job to 5 colors using special green as a fifth color. This was done in Photoshop using channel mixer and the image was tweaked a bit by our team to achieve what now appears as a brilliant green design with so many distinguishable shades of green.

Full coating of film-less holographic coating adds to the charm of the box and makes it truly a gift item cherished for long time.
